How does odorous vaginal discharge occur?

Smelly vaginal discharge is caused by an infection in the vagina. You may experience itching or a discolored vaginal discharge or a burning sensation when urinating, contributing to an unpleasant condition.

Until there is some concern, the smell may float outside like the smell of salted fish, causing people to dislike you.

Foul-smelling vaginal discharge may occur before or after menstruation, or sometimes during intercourse that can compromise your relationship with your partner.

Abnormal appearance of vaginal discharge

A normal vaginal discharge is clear or milky in color, without a foul odor and without itching, it is a telltale sign of abnormal vaginal discharge. It can be observed as follows.

  • Abnormal vaginal discharge, you can suspect it is abnormal vaginal discharge.

  • Unusual/rotten fish odor

  • If the appearance of the vaginal discharge changes, such as becoming more cloudy, or may be pasty or milky, foamy, and lumpy, it is considered abnormal.

The occurrence of leucorrhoea is normal, but if in doubt it should be diagnosed by a doctor as some abnormalities show similar symptoms. Examination by a specialist doctor will provide more accurate treatment.
